The Kisan Karwan initiative has now reached yet another significant event location, this time in the Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. Following the successful completion of events in eight districts spanning from Meerut to Gorakhpur, the caravan is on track to culminate in Noida. The participation of numerous farmers, including women and children, has been robust, with a keen interest in the sessions conducted by KVK scientists. “The Rural Insight”, organizers of the event, have facilitated the presence of several Progressive Farmers and Pradhans to share invaluable insights on cost-effective farming practices and the advancement of common farming techniques, thereby improving livelihoods. Additionally, attendees were enlightened about various government schemes aimed at bolstering the agricultural sector. Notable contributions came from Dhanuka, sharing insights on crop protection measures, and Swaraj Tractors, introducing extended warranty options for their models. Anmol Biscuit added a touch of refreshment to the proceedings by distributing biscuits, while an engaging Q&A session organized by “The Rural Insight” rewarded active participant farmers. With five districts left on the agenda, the Kisan Karwan remains committed to its mission of empowering farmers across Uttar Pradesh.
